7/03/13      Is it just me, or have the weather forecasts for Barrie been dead wrong for +2 weeks? Rain predicted every day but never comes.

7/01/13      'Naturalization' is a lazy man's excuse for letting their lawn and gardens grow wild and full of weeds. Looks like crap.

Leigh Buchan‏@lives2talk:  @SunPosition I like "naturalization"! Weed sprayed lawn - rained next day; no time to mow this wknd; lotsa bear spots & no clue what 2 do!

RB:  I don't mind naturalized areas of parks, but letting residential lawns and gardens go to weeds is another story.

Leigh Buchan‏@lives2talk:  @SunPosition Don't know how to cover dead patches; have been pulling weeds from rock garden all wknd!

RB:  Mark Cullen had a good piece in the Saturday Star about repairing bare spots. 1/2 lb. of seed to 10 lbs. of sharp sand.

RB:  Here's advice from the expert. "@MarkCullen4: How to repair bare spots in the lawn. http://t.co/g1vq6zvFYa"
